MacKenzie Elected as Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights

Today, Dave MacKenzie, Member of Parliament for Oxford was appointed as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights (JUST). The Chair is an elected position by all members of the committee. “It is an honour to be entrusted with this role by my Parliamentary colleagues of all parties”, said MacKenzie. “It is anticipated that the Justice and Human Rights committee will be busy with multiple justice bills coming forward from Parliament to fulfill Canada’s governments’ mandate to help keep our streets and communities safe”.
